Valarie Overton, M.D.
Dr. Overton is a Board-certified Ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She received her MD degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at Westchester County Medical Center. She completed her residency in Ophthalmology at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center where she received comprehensive training in all aspects of medical and surgical ophthalmology. She was Co-Director of Residency Training and Clinic Chief at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center for one year prior to entering private practice.
For over thirty years, Dr. Overton has built her practice through her commitment to provide every patient with the highest quality of care with the utmost respect and compassion. She is frequently sought to provide second opinions for difficult or complicated ophthalmic problems.
Dr. Overton was Chief of Ophthalmology at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, NY (currently NYP Westchester) for ten years and previously an Assistant Clinical Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Overton's experience, knowledge and expertise have earned her recognition as one of Westchester and Greenwich's Top Doctors for seven consecutive years. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New York State Ophthalmologic Society.

Susan Fromer, M.D.
Dr. Susan Fromer is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, and laser vision correction. She graduated with honors from Rutgers University. She went on to receive her medical degree at NYU Medical School. She then completed a medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital and residency training at St Vincent's Hospital.
She has done additional training in cornea and laser refractive surgery at Mercy Hospital. She has been board-certified since 1992. In 2004, Dr. Fromer was an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital where she was a resident instructor, training the residents in ophthalmic surgery. Dr. Susan Fromer was preceptor for a glaucoma fellowship with Dr. Maurice Luntz at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York.
Dr. Fromer has had extensive experience in laser-assisted cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens implantation, complex and advanced techniques in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), traditional and implant glaucoma surgery, and laser treatments for glaucoma.
Dr. Fromer is a NYPD Honorary Police Surgeon. She has been named as a Castle Connolly top doctor.

Nathan Nataneli, M.D.
Dr. Nathan Nataneli is a board certified and fellowship trained ophthalmologist who earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After completing his residency at BronxCare Health System, where he served as chief resident in his final year, Dr. Nataneli completed a cornea and refractive fellowship at Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island.
Dr. Nataneli treats a wide range of ophthalmological conditions, specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of corneal disease, cataract extraction, astigmatism and presbyopia management, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. He offers Laser Vision Correction and femtosecond laser cataract surgery.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Over his last decade in academic ophthalmology, in addition to gaining valuable clinical and surgical experience, Dr. Nataneli presented at national meetings and published book chapters and articles in major ophthalmic journals, on topics such as Descemet's Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty, outcomes of cataract surgeries in unique clinical scenarios, and infectious keratitis. He received the Teacher of the Year Award in three of those years.
